Does CANE have 501(c)(3) tax exemption?

As of September 1st, 2025, CANE does NOT have 501(c)(3) tax exemption, although we are currently gathering funds to submit the required paperwork and fees to the IRS. Otherwise, as of June 9th, 2025, CANE is recognized as a Non-Profit Corporation in the state of New Hampshire.

What does CANE hope to accomplish?

CANE’s mission can be condensed into our tagline: Community. Growth. Inspiration. These are the ideals that CANE promises to uphold. For a more in-depth answer, please refer to our About page.

How much does a CANE membership cost?

While we are currently not accepting memberships, our goal is to make memberships as cheap as possible. We don’t want financial troubles to stop an artist from accessing support and resources. Our most up to date idea is $20 a year, although this price is still being debated. Regardless of the outcome, CANE promises to make a low YEARLY fee.

What are the benefits of membership?

CANE plans to offer a variety of resources, including but not limited to: critique spaces, zines, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, artist talks, and workshops. As we grow, we plan on offering more opportunities. For more info, please visit our Membership page.

He gathered two of his closest friends, Aarynn O’Brien and Erika Ventura, and in January of 2025, he set out to accomplish this goal… Read our whole story in our About page.
